According to a study we carried out, only 32% of online shops have "Guest Checkout" as the most prominent option.
We investigated the websites of 50 top online shops including eBay, Gucci, Nike, Argos, Walmart, and many others. We found out that 32% have the "Guest Checkout" as the most prominent option, 2% have it but it is not clearly labeled, 4% have it as a plain text link, 6% put it below account sign-in, 4% only show it to customers after email input, and 52% do not have a "Guest Checkout" option at all.
